High Temp Brakes - MBX5 MBX5T TTR ADVK001
These new brakes are made from a special high-grade fiberglass that have high impact strength and can withstand extremely high temperatures. While other similar brakes can burn out or glaze over if they get extremely hot, these brakes will hold up much better under these conditions. They will not fade during long mains, even when exposed to fuel spills and high temperatures.
To use these brakes, you will need to remove your brake pads from the calipers and just use the calipers. You will also need to remove the bottom brake rotor guides from the center diff mount, as these rotors are a bit thicker than the stock ones. For maintenance, scuff the brake discs with a fine sandpaper every 4-6 race days.
These brakes are cut to work with the Mugen MBX-5, MBX-5R, MBX-5T, and Thunder Tiger buggies and truggies.
